ABOUT

Kyle Lee’s career in music began with leading worship at his home church in Texarkana, TX.  During these years, a strong connection with another local band called “Pocket Full of Rocks” was formed and eventually he would join the band. After many years of playing and recording independently, it was during a live DVD recording that led to relationships that would bring about the band’s signing toWord/Myrrh Records in 2005. IMG_1874_brightAfter moving to Nashville and touring the release of PFOR’s first major label release, Kyle decided it was time to move permanently into his other long-time passion – producing, and stepped down from his 8 years with the band in late 2006.  His first production would be “Pocket Full of Rock’s” second major titled“Manifesto” which garnered a Dove Award nomination for “Worship Album of the Year”.  Since that time, he has had the pleasure of working with many of the Christian music industry’s greatest artists including tobyMac, Phillips Craig & Dean, Audrey Assad, Nicole C. Mullen, Travis Cottrell, and Michael W. Smith. kyleatfarrens1Kyle’s work on “Smitty’s” album“Wonder” included engineering, mixing the album, and writing 5 songs to be featured on the album.  After his involvement he was asked to join with Michael W. Smith’s new entertainment company, The MWS Group.  This new venture includes roles in writing, producing, engineering, and artist development and will no doubt be an exciting journey.  Now having been a part of a Grammy winning album and 5 Dove Award Nominations, Kyle is ready for what the future holds and most importantly eager to continue to create music in which everyone can love and relate.
